Component Options for Plate Sequence Control
Overview
Progressive offers a variety of component options for molds with multiple moving plates.
The most recent addition to our plate sequencing product line is the Ejector Accelerator. Designed to be compact but provide robust strength, the Ejector Accelerator creates a second-stage ejection at critical points in a mold with only a single set of ejector plates to knock parts from lifter heads or bump parts off undercuts.

To further builds out Progressive’s Plate Sequence Control product line, the Ejector Accelerator is joined by a rocker-style Plate Accelerator for double ejection applications.
Plate Retainers are engineered to hold parting lines or retain floating mold plates, and can be used with other latch components to ensure desired sequencing.
Designed to replace shoulder bolts, Pro’s self-venting Friction Pullers initiate movement, and allow users to set the force to release the plate.
Pro’s Roller Pullers incorporate internal rollers, hardened surfaces for durability, and a spring ‘sight window’ for adjusting pre-load while on the tool.
Pro’s Cam-Driven External Plate Locks allow for parting line sequencing via a versatile design with minimal machining for multiple applications.
