Safety Straps

Progressive Safety Straps are designed to secure mold parting lines for transportation, mold setting, and storage.

• Mold size and strength rating guidelines are as shown below.
• Secure the Straps at parting line using the Holo-Krome® bolts provided. Torque suggested from Holo-Krome is shown below.
• To open parting line, remove the screws and move the Safety Straps to the other threaded location, away from parting line.
• If unintentionally left on when securing the parting line once the mold in the press and opened, the Safety Strap is engineered to break before the bolts shear.

Terms of use: Safety Straps are offered to you by Progressive Components conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein as well as accompanied Safety Guidelines.
High Risk Activities: Safety Straps from Progressive Components keep mold halves secured and thus may result in high risk activity such as while transporting molds if mold weight exceeds Strap selection guidelines, or a Strap is unintentionally securing parting line as the mold is initially opened, or by an inadvertent dropping of the mold, as examples. In the event of the strap or bolts becoming damaged in any way at any time, all parts should immediately be replaced with new components. However, it is imperative that all safety guidelines, warnings, and procedures are specifically followed. Risks include but are not limited to physical injury, disability and/or death. You participate in these activities at your own risk.
Assumption of Risk: By buying, using, or allowing the use of Safety Straps, you understand and agree that you may be engaging in high risk activities and, to the extent permitted by law, YOU EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THE RISK OF DEATH OR OTHER PERSONAL INJURY SUSTAINED WHILE PARTICIPATING IN SUCH ACTIVITIES WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER FAULT OF Progressive Components including but not limited to equipment malfunction from whatever cause, or any other fault of Progressive Components. Purchasers assume all risks. Additionally, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Progressive Components harmless from claims arising from such use of Safety Straps.
Limitation Of Liability: In no event shall Progressive Components be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of Safety Straps.
Entire Obligation: This website along with the accompanied materials states the entire obligation of Progressive Components. with respect to Safety Straps. If any part of this disclaimer is determined to be void, invalid, unenforceable or illegal, including, but not limited to the warranty disclaimers and liability disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Applicable Law: Your order from Progressive Components, and this disclaimer statement are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois of the United States of America. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state of Illinois, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of Safety Straps. Use of Safety Straps is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph.
Modification of Terms and Conditions: Progressive Components reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which Safety Strap Products are offered.
