Progressive Components expands its Date Marking product line with the new DaterView—a simple approach for verification of the date plug settings within a mold.

DaterView gives shop floor personnel an intuitive, accurate way to verify and maintain date-marking plugs. With a click-in-place turn of the DaterView wheel each month, the easy-to-read device provides a practical, economical solution to visualize and verify traceability.

DaterView offers options: use one item for months, one for years, or both as needed. Choose a bolt-on Fastener Style for new tooling or a Magnetic Style for existing molds during production, with no machining required.

The primary advantage is that when the mold is in production, it serves as a visual reminder that the mold contains date plugs and requires periodic adjustment. An added benefit is that when a tool comes out of storage, DaterView displays the date of the tool's last production run, instantly showing whether a new annual date plug is needed before startup.

DaterView provides a simpler, faster, and more reliable process within a molding room. Key features:
