Overview
Progressive expands its Date Marking product line with the addition of DaterView™—a simplified approach to help shop floor personnel accurately maintain date-marking plugs.
With a click-in-place turn of the DaterView wheel when indexing date plugs each month, this easy-to-read mold tag provides a practical and economical solution to ensure the correct position of the mold’s date plug arrows.
DaterView offers Flexibility
Progressive’s DaterView mounts to the outside of the mold (on the operator side) to allow for easy identification of the date plug settings within the tool.
DaterView is available in both months and years in two mounting styles. A bolt-on, Fastener Style for new tooling, and a Magnetic Style for affixing to molds in production.
Key features include:
- Prominent verification of the correct date plug position during production.
- After removal from storage, the mold displays the date of its last production run.
- Available in both months and years with two mounting options.
- Rugged construction with high-contrast display for easy readability.
- The 12-position lock ensures secure, precise settings.
- Operating temperature up to 175°F (80°C); optional Insulating Plate increases this to 500°F (260°C) and reduces heat transfer.
- Easy to install and straightforward to use.
Bolt-on (fastener) style is designed for new tools and is mounted within a recessed pocket that is 2″ x 2″ and 5/16″ deep with 1/8″ corner radii.
Magnetic style is designed for existing tools and magnetically attaches directly to the mold base. No machining required.
