Along with medical-related events, American Mold Builders Association conferences and Plant Tours, and die-casting symposiums, Pro also exhibited at the K2025 show in Germany (shown here).

Progressive announced the release of ProFile v5 at K2025, our latest evolution in cloud-based asset tracking and management software for the production tooling industry.
ProFile v5 integrates asset management, real-time data analytics, and comprehensive key performance indicator (KPI) reporting from Pro’s suite of monitoring products. It can be used as a basic tracking system to organize and locate tools and equipment globally, or as a robust solution paired with Pro’s CVe Monitor RT for complete real-time monitoring.
Key advancements include:
Enhanced API Connectivity: ProFile v5 provides seamless data sharing between mold management systems and manufacturing infrastructures, such as MES and ERP platforms. This integration eliminates repetitive data entry and ensures real-time data synchronization, allowing production managers to access mold utilization data directly from their ERP dashboards for streamlined decision-making.
Intelligent Mold Health Monitoring: This feature compares current mold life against projected performance, providing health status indicators that help manufacturers proactively schedule maintenance and prepare replacement tooling.
Enhanced Mobile App Functionality: The upgraded mobile app provides access to KPI data and mold performance metrics, integrating seamlessly with Progressive’s CVe Access Monitor via Bluetooth. It tracks historical cycle counts, generates detailed performance and maintenance reports, and allows easy access to data through a user-friendly mobile interface, optimized for field engineers and remote managers.

Pro’s CVe RT real-time mold monitor tracks tool activity and communicates via Bluetooth® access to ProFile®, a web and mobile-based app. CVe RT allows cycle counts and other data to be viewed on the device, provides wireless access to info utilizing the ProFile app, and, with added hardware, can send real-time data to ProFile in the cloud for global access.

With reliable click-in-place positioning, new Runner Turn Offs are available in inch and metric sizes and styles with and without a center ejector pin. Pro’s RTO offers convenient holding during machining of the pre-hardened 420 SS assembly, which is then located into position with a press fit flat.

GATE INSERTS
Progressive now offers off-the-shelf standard Gate Inserts for when abrasive materials open gates. Its compact design is serviceable from the parting line and provides an option to adjust gate size while the mold remains in the press.

SPRING CUPS
SPRING CUPS
Pro’s new Spring Cups make spring-loaded ejector systems safer and easier to assemble, allow for ejection verification to ensure no system binding, and accept longer springs with less machining required in the Support Plate. Spring Cups are available in seven sizes to suit standard plate thickness and now four new 1.302” sizes that allow for a .25” insulator plate when being used at PKO locations.

Progressive recently expanded our TI™ Pin line with 267 new standard sizes in longer lengths, and has now added 40 new sizes in smaller diameters (.0200” – .0590”) with 2.5” lengths. Designed to fit into small, crowded cavity and core inserts, Pro’s TI Pins are manufactured with hardened M-2 steel and offered in diameters from .0200” to .3200” in both 2.5” and 5.5” lengths. Cut-to-length and custom options are also available.

For optimum protection of telescoping shut-offs, Progressive’s Radial Springs lift and center inserts before Cavity Interlocks engage. Rather than rigidly bolting inserts to the mold base, stripper bolts allow the Radial Spring’s pressure to reduce side forces and pressure on locks and inserts. Radial Springs are available in four inch and metric standard sizes.

Progressive’s new Safety Straps safely secure parting lines during mould transportation and storage. Straps are designed not to shear the bolts and instead feature an engineered break point. This allows for an easy strap replacement rather than moving the mold base before machining out the sheared bolt. Safety Straps are available in three standard inch and metric sizes and are compatible with previous standards.

TOOLING FOR TOMORROW
For over 20 years, Progressive’s Tooling For Tomorrow initiative has supported the industry through donations to mold-related training and recruitment programs, fostering education and innovation within the mold building community. This commitment includes sponsoring annual awards from the American Mold Builders Association (AMBA), where industry leaders are recognized. Each winner receives a $5,000 grant to support a technical program of their choice.
This year, Robbie Earnhardt of Superior Tooling, Inc. was named the 2025 AMBA Mold Builder of the Year and selected the North Carolina Triangle Apprenticeship Program (NCTAP) as the recipient. The 2025 AMBA Tooling Trailblazer of the Year was presented to Zack Clark of Electroform Company, who allocated their grant to Harlem High School for use in their manufacturing and engineering curriculum.
In addition to these awards, Pro also sponsors the SPE’s Mold Designer of the Year award, which comes with a $1,000 check. Jim Fattori, Injection Mold Consulting, was honored with this award and has named the Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) as the recipient.
Our team is grateful for our role within the industry and appreciative of all those throughout the trade who work with local schools and programs, enabling all of us to be part of Tooling For Tomorrow.

i-WARRIORS - hEROES FROM THE AMERICAN MOLD
The iWarriors team, a non-profit entity of Progressive, raises funds and distributes pre-loaded, personalized iPads to severely injured veterans to assist with their return, recovery, and reintegration.
This past year, iWarriors benefited from three industry golf outings: M.R. Mold and Engineering raised $14,500 on February 7th, Alliance Specialties and Laser Sales raised $29,665 on September 19th, and United Tool & Mold raised a record $35,000 on October 24th.
Through the incredible efforts of our industry colleagues and friends, together we raised over $79,165 to continue our mission of providing iPads to our country’s wounded veterans.
Progressive and our iWarriors volunteers are grateful to all the event hosts, golfers, and sponsors who made this possible.
