KEYED CONNECT LOCKING SOCKET CONNECTORS

Progressive’s new Keyed Connect Locking Socket Connectors feature a simple and intuitive “twist to lock” mechanism, securely holding the outer sleeve in place. With an internal hex that will only mate with male keyed connector plugs, this design reduces mold setup and connection errors, speeds up changeovers, and ensures that molds operate as intended.

COOLED UNILIFTER ASSEMBLY

COOLED UNILIFTER ASSEMBLY

Progressive’s new Cooled UniLifter Assembly includes a precision-machined Core Blade that accommodates a High Flow Cascade Tube, seated with a Buna O-Ring. This tube extends into the lifter head insert and comes finished to the required length, featuring a 30-degree flow angle and two threaded NPT ports with four orientation options.

SPRING CUPS

SPRING CUPS

New Spring Cups make spring-loaded ejector systems safer and easier to assemble, allow for ejection verification to ensure no system binding, and accept longer springs with less machining required in the Support Plate. Spring Cups are available in seven sizes to suit standard plate thickness and can be used on PKO locations or for spring-loaded three-plate molds.

TOOLING FOR TOMORROW

Progressive’s Tooling For Tomorrow initiative supports the industry through donations to mold-related technical programs, fostering education and innovation within the mold-building community to ensure that emerging professionals have the necessary resources to develop their skills and advance their careers.

As part of this commitment, we proudly sponsor the American Mold Builders Association’s (AMBA) annual Mold Builder and Tooling Trailblazer of the Year awards, where each recipient receives a generous grant of $5,000 to donate to a technical program of their choice.

2025 AMBA Mold Builder of the Year

This past May, Robbie Earnhardt of Superior Tooling, Inc. (Wake Forest, NC) was presented the 2025 AMBA Mold Builder of the Year Award and has selected the North Carolina Triangle Apprenticeship Program (NCTAP) as the recipient.

2025 AMBA Tooling Trailblazer of the Year

The 2025 AMBA Tooling Trailblazer of the Year was presented to Zack Clark of Electroform Company (Rockford, IL). Their grant, provided by Progressive, was allocated to Harlem High School for use in their manufacturing and engineering curriculum.

In addition to these awards, Progressive also sponsors the SPE’s Mold Designer of the Year award, which comes with a $ 1,000 check. Jim Fattori, Injection Mold Consulting (Trevose, Pennsylvania), was honored with this award and has named the Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) as the recipient.

Since its inception over 20 years ago, Progressive Components has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the industry, donating over $500,000 of product and monetary contributions to further support Tooling for Tomorrow!
