As a developer of mould component innovations for nearly three decades, we are dedicated to bringing new, advanced tooling solutions to our industry. At K2019, our theme was Drive Productivity Forward, and we proudly introduced a variety of new products to help our customers do just that.
New CamAction® Series Available
Progressive’s range of CamActions begin at compact-sized, which require no cavity machining, to large assemblies offering insert slides ready for final machining. The new 250 Series provides an off-the-shelf solution for when mould design space is at a premium.
New MiniLifter® Series Added
The UniLifter System is the most widely-used standard product for moulding and releasing undercuts, bringing a proven track record of smooth performance. Progressive’s new MiniLifter Series, released at K2019 is available in two material options: 1.2344 and DC 53.
SRT® Slide Retainer Line Expansion
Progressive has once again expanded our line of SRT Series Slide Retainers, providing mould designers more options for smooth, greaseless, and reliable retention of side actions. With a total of 10 size options in both Metric and Inch versions, our SRTs can hold from 1 to 38 kgs.
New CounterView® Cycle Counting Options
Progressive carries the widest range of mould counting and monitoring products and is expanding the product line to include pocketed counters in both left and right hand orientation, and round counters for bored pockets with extensions to 200mm.
New Insulator Block for High Temp Tools
The new Insulator Block is an innovative solution to protect Progressive’s monitoring devices from temperatures found when moulding high temp resins. With an Insulator Block installed, the CVe Monitor and CounterView will perform at mould temps up to 180°C.
Expanded Line of Z-Series Bar Locks
Only Progressive’s Z-Serires Alignment Locks are independently tested and proven to surpass all others. We’ve now expanded our range of Bar Locks—designed to support the weight of large tools with guides configured for multi-plate moulds—to include new metric size options.
New Tools for Preventive Maintenance
Progressive’s CVe Monitor tracks tool activity, allowing users to view data on the display or from comprehensive reports using OnDemand or the CVe Live System. Today, with our most recent upgrade, the CVe Monitor offers a vast array of tools to assist users with their Preventive Maintenance processes.
New Advancements for CVe Live®
CVe Live, the most robust, comprehensive mould monitoring solution in the industry, now offers full multi-lingual capability and user interface improvements, Press Dashboard to provide overview of all operations, OEE calculations for both the press and the tool, and more.
We also celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Progressive Components Asia at K2019. In honour of this exciting milestone, all attendees with whom we collected contact details were entered into our raffle to win a trip to Singapore’s Formula 1 Race in September of 2020.
